Asylum seekers up 17 percent in rich countries: U.N. (Reuters)

Reuters - The total of people seeking asylum in industrialized countries rose by 17 percent in the first six months of this year compared with the same period in 2010, the United Nations refugee agency UNHCR said on Tuesday.
