Nigeria celebrates independence amid bomb fears (AP)

AP - Nigeria celebrated its independence Saturday with a muted, security-conscious ceremony at the nation's heavily guarded presidential villa amid a campaign of bombings and attacks carried out by a radical Muslim sect.
