This photo taken in June 2011 shows the No. 3 reactor building of Kyushu Electric Power Co.'s Genkai plant in the town of Genkai, southwestern Japan. Radioactive water leaked inside the nuclear power plant, but the contaminated water did not escape into the environment, the government said Saturday, Dec. 10, 2011. Tetsuya Saito, spokesman for the Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency, this nation's nuclear regulators, said 1.8 tons of radioactive water leaked inside Genkai, and the cause was still under investigation.
